As a property owner you want to stay on top of the condition of your property—to avoid escalating repair and maintenance bills and to maintain the value of your investment.

Property Works carries out a range of inspections for property owners, including:

Building defect report

If you have had work done to your property and are unsure or unhappy with the final results, you may have a building defect you want inspected, an issue with work that has been carried out by a tradesman or you may want some advice on preventative measures, we can offer three levels of service:

  • an on-site consultation with no formal report
  • a Defect report, providing much more detail
  • an Expert Witness report, should you decide you need to take legal action. 

Building and Timber Pest report

This can be valuable in helping you maintain the condition of your property, and it can be used to help you put a maintenance program in place.

Timber Pest report

Termites can cost property owners many thousands of dollars. An annual timber pest inspection is highly recommended. For a few hundred dollars a year you can save yourself a lot of stress and money over the life of owning your property.

Owner builders warranty report

If you have constructed or extended a building under a owner builders permit with a project value of greater than $12,000, you may need this type of report.
