Surety specialises in inspections on residential, investment and commercial properties. We have carried out more than 11 000 inspections of all types—for sellers, buyers, owners, real estate agents, solicitors, accountants, strata and property managers and insurance companies.
Our specialist building consultants are fully accredited, licensed and have undergone a stringent training process. We carry out all inspections and write all reports in line with current Australian Standards for building and timber pest inspections.
Surety—owned by director Bruce and general manager Sharlene Cohen—opened its doors for business in July 2001 on the South Coast of New South Wales (Batemans Bay). In 2005 a Canberra-based operation was established.
Bruce, a licenced builder, has been accepted into a unique group of consultants by the Master Builders Association as part of there MBA Accredited Building Consultants Scheme.
Surety consultants go beyond the role of a typical inspector, to impart our knowledge to our clients, communicating openly about the results of our work to ensure understanding.
