Energy Rating (ACT only)

In the ACT you must by law arrange an energy rating on a unit or apartment before you list or advertise your property for sale. This type of dwelling is called Class A.

Surety inspectors are expert at conducting energy efficiency inspections.

To ensure accuracy, we use government software to determine a star rating for your property—between 0 stars up to 6 stars—as required under current ACT law.

What does the Surety consultant assess?

  1. type of floor coverings and window furnishings
  2. whether there is insulation, and, if so, what the R rating is
  3. size and type of windows
  4. size of the dwelling and aspect.
