Sharlene Cohen
General Manager
As General Manager, Sharlene is in charge of running all aspects of Surety other than conducting physical inspections. She is in charge of training, financial matters, customer satisfaction, IT systems and human resource matters.
Bruce Cohen
Director
Bruce is an accredited MBA building consultant who has ten years experience in the industry. He leads Suretys’ team of inspectors and is in charge of quality assurance—both inspections and written reports. Bruce ensures that all of Suretys' inspections are handled in accordance with Australian Standards.
Bruce holds a NSW builder’s licence, and is a licenced energy rating assessor and accredited timber pest inspector. In addition he is qualified to handle expert witness matters.
Bruce has conducted thousands of building and timber pest inspections in line with best practice.
Andrew Hearne
Senior Building Consultant (South Coast)
Andrew—a qualified carpenter and timber pest inspector—has been in the industry since 2006. He is fully accredited to handle building and timber pest inspections, and write reports on findings, in line with Australian Standards. Before joining Surety, Andrew worked as a manager in a building business in Batemans Bay.
Brendan Trevaskis
Building Consultant (Canberra)
Brendan—a fully trained building & timber pest inspector—has been in the industry since 2010. He has been trained and mentored under the careful eye of Bruce Cohen our MBA accredited building consultant and director. He is fully accredited to handle timber pest inspections, and write reports on findings, in line with Australian Standards. Brendan has a passion for property and is very approachable and happy to impart his knowledge.
